DataX Development
typically uses the following cooperation models (contracts):
Fixed
Price
Time-and-Materials
Time-and-Materials
with Not-to-Exceed clause
Milestone-based
payment schedule
Monthly
Resource-based payment
Fixed-price Contract is one in which the developer agrees to
provide the deliverable(s) for an agreed total sum.
When we use
fixed-price contract, it means that the customer and DataX Solutions
agree in advance on a price that will represent
full payment for the services to be provided under the contract.
This
way of cooperation is used when project specifications are clearly
defined and we are to deliver a product that conforms
to the specifications or the completion of specific tasks before
payment is made. Payment(s) for satisfactory completion is/are
fixed and we receive that/those pre-negotiated, fixed amount(s),
regardless of actual costs incurred.
Time-and-materials Contract is one in which the developer is
paid to perform work based on the reimbursement of effort and
resources.
This way of cooperation provides for acquiring services on the
basis of (1) direct labor hours at specified fixed hourly labor
rates that include wages, overhead, general and administrative
expenses, and profit and (2) materials at cost, including, if
appropriate, material handling costs as part of material costs.
Time and Materials with Not-to-Exceed clause is a standard
time-and-materials contract, with an additional clause that
price will not exceed
a certain amount.
Milestone-based payment schedule contributes to better progress
monitoring and helps you justify payment. Moreover, visible
progress reduces risks. With this kind of contract customer
makes payment
as soon as a certain milestone of a project is achieved.
Monthly Resource-based payment schedule is the model, when
billing is done monthly based on the number and level of
resources utilized.
The DataX Development Company cooperates with our customers
and partners mainly according to Fixed-price and Time-and-Materials contracts.
However, if you find other method appropriate for you and your
project, we will be glad to discuss it. Feel free to contact
us.
